Mystic Thickness is a cd-r that was shipped in certain bundles of the Maniac Meat pre-order held at the Black Moth Super Rainbow website that took place on April 27, 2010. Only 111 copies were made, and the breakdown for the preorder bundles is as follows:
- 33 in the "1990's Preorder" bundle
- 33 in the "Cherry Preorder" bundle
- 33 in the "All In Preorder" bundle
- 3 in the "Fat Tobaccocentric Preorder" bundle
- 1 in the "Vault Preorder" bundle
The EP was also released in the UK by the label Rough Trade, and was included in their preorders for the Maniac Meat album.
